Moments that made me laugh

Hello!
Well I'm sorta sad to report I haven't done anything dumb this week..go figure. The one week I start my blog I don't mess up or have an embarrassing moment! But there was something yesterday that made me laugh...

Yesterday morning I babysat for a little 4-year-old boy (who's very smart for his age). We were in the middle of an intense battle scene between a fire-breathing dragon and a flying horse when suddenly he stopped, dropped his toys, touched my leg, and looked up at me. He pointed to my birthmark on my ankle and said (like every other kid I've met) "WHAT IS THAT?!" I lamely attempted to explain what it was, trying to put it in 4 year old terms but utterly failing. He looked totally confused but I knew I couldn't do much better. After staring at the ground for a few seconds, he snapped his head back up at me with his face lit up and  blurted out "Ohhhh I know! That's your beauty mark right?" Don't ask me how the heck he thought of that and knew what that was but it was quite hilarious.

And you know it's been a long day when you try to do a heroic act of carrying your sleeping little sister up to her room.... and you wipe out on the stairs. No good deed goes unpunished I guess. She was a little in shock and I was dying from laughter but we were okay.  Needless to say she was wide awake by the time we both walked upstairs to her room.

L.M. Montgomery wrote in Anne of Green Gables:  “Life is worth living as long as there's a laugh in it.” And I definitely agree!
